Job Qualifications

  • Grade school level education

  • 1-2 years experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery
  • 1-2 years experience following work task specifications, SOPs, and recipes
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate coworkers
  • Strong teamwork and self-motivation skills
  • Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Capable of standing for prolonged periods
  • Able to bend, stoop, crawl, reach, and work in awkward positions
  • Reliable and punctual with schedule flexibility
  • Adherence to company attendance and punctuality policies

  • Knowledge of food safety and third-party certification policies

Job Duties

  • Perform tasks according to safety and food safety standards
  • Participate in safety training programs and promote safety initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Report equipment malfunctions and ensure preventive maintenance
  • Follow production schedules and complete efficient product changeovers
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Identify and prepare batches using appropriate recipes
  • Verify ingredient accuracy prior to mixing
  • Coordinate with machine operators on dough consistency
  • Monitor mixes for quality, yield, and production schedule compliance
  • Record and document mixing data accurately
  • Use RF gun for ingredient consumption tracking
  • Maintain communication with machine operators for coordination
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process problems proactively
  • Verify equipment maintenance and sanitation
  • Keep mixing room organized and audit ready
  • Prepare grinding equipment and change grinder stones
  • Inspect corn quality for grinding
  • Weigh masa according to recipe standards
  • Complete preservative tank changes
  • Scan and verify ingredients using the TGI system
  • Follow FIFO program for ingredient usage
  • Maintain machinery performance standards
  • Document all production reports thoroughly
  • Communicate product changes and quality issues
  • Maintain compliance with waste standards
