Job Requirements

  • Work Keys testing- graphic literacy level 4
  • Ability to lift ingredients weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously for long periods
  • Willingness to work an 8-12 hour night shift with overtime
  • Adherence to safety and cleanliness standards
  • Capability to use computerized mixing systems
  • Compliance with allergen and quality control procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food production or bakery operations preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and procedures
  • Competence with automated mixing equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiarity with good manufacturing practices
  • Ability to read and fill out production documentation

Job Duties

  • Review pertinent information with the previous shift
  • Obtain updated production schedules
  • Compare scaled ingredients with paperwork
  • Perform pre-operational checks and scale calibration
  • Follow formulas according to batch files
  • Activate automated ingredient drawing system
  • Load pre-scaled ingredients into mixer
  • Scale ingredients manually as needed
  • Operate mixer to meet mix times and temperatures
  • Perform regular and allergen cleanouts
  • Neatly fill out necessary documentation
  • Maintain a safe, clean work area
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
  • Follow all job safety analysis guidelines
  • Train on different shifts if required
