Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of relevant machine and manufacturing experience
  • Ability to work 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM shift
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to follow safety and food safety protocols
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing and manual mixing
  • Willingness to learn and be trained on cleaning, sanitizing and chemical handling procedures

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of machine and manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of sanitation and proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques
  • Ability to follow plant work standards
  • Ability to communicate line issues with peers, leadership and customers
  • Ability to accept accountability and responsibility for work
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts, including occasional to frequent overtime

Job Duties

  • Tend a machine that mixes ingredients such as salt, flour, eggs and soda to produce batter according to formula
  • Weigh and mix ingredients in mixing tank
  • Hand stir mix with 3' long spatula
  • Record information about ingredients and timing
  • Receive instructions from cook in person or on telephone regarding the mixes needed
  • Record temperature of mixes
  • Follow safety, food safety (SQF), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
