Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of machine and manufacturing experience
- ability to follow safety and food safety standards
- ability to work onsite at manufacturing plant in Kent, Washington
- ability to work early morning shift (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM)
- willingness to work overtime
- ability to maintain regular attendance
- physical ability to handle manual tasks
- flexibility to rotate to production specialist role
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of machine and manufacturing experience
- knowledge of safety and food safety standards
- ability to follow strict procedures and work within team environment
- good communication skills
- ability to operate mixing machinery
- basic math skills for weighing ingredients
- familiarity with sanitation and cleaning protocols
- ability to work flexible hours and overtime
- adherence to company code of conduct
Job Duties
- tend a machine that mixes ingredients such as salt, flour, eggs and soda to produce batter according to formula
- weigh and mix ingredients in mixing tank
- hand stir mix with 3' long spatula
- record information about ingredients and timing
- receive instructions from cook in person or on telephone regarding the mixes needed
- record temperature of mixes
- follow safety/food safety (SQF)/good manufacturing practices (GMP) standards
- trained and validated to clean and sanitize equipment and surroundings specific to their focus area
- trained and knowledgeable of the principles of sanitation, proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques, and PPE requirements
- trained and knowledgeable of ladder safety
- trained and knowledgeable in water and drain management
- maintain regular attendance
- work overtime to meet production deadlines
- rotate to position of production specialist
- report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
- perform other production specific tasks
