Job Requirements
- Meet all qualification requirements including education if applicable
- Have one year of specialized experience at the GS05 level or equivalent
- Meet applicable time in grade requirements for current federal employees
- Pass a thorough background investigation
- Physically reside in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the past five years or qualify for an exception
- Complete a one-year probationary period if newly appointed to federal service
- Disclose if currently or previously a political appointee within the last five years
Job Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS05 grade level in similar duties
- Experience providing broad mission support including procurement and service coordination
- Ability to monitor and prioritize service requests effectively
- Customer service experience in a professional environment
- Experience maintaining calendars and coordinating scheduling
- Familiarity with property management and space utilization programs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Provide broad assistance to other mission support personnel including procurement of routine equipment and services
- Prepare purchase orders
- Assist in identifying potential suppliers and coordinate as needed
- Monitor, receive, prioritize, and route service requests
- Provide customer service by answering routine questions and directing callers to appropriate staff
- Maintain a calendar including major events for planning purposes
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring the organization's property management and space utilization program
