Job Requirements
- Profess belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord
- Subscribe to Young Life Statement of Faith and staff policies
- Be ready and willing to fulfill ministry functions
- Refrain from conduct detracting from biblical standards
- Abide by Young Life policies on religious belief and ministry
- College degree preferred
Job Qualifications
- Successful youth ministry experience as a pastor and/or Young Life staff
- Ability to develop and lead teams
- Proven skills running youth ministry within a church context
- Membership in Journey Community Church required
- Proven relational skills with kids and adults
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Duties
- Develop a yearly personal spiritual growth plan including prayer and fellowship
- Maintain active participation in a church community and Young Life spiritual life
- Lead and develop leadership teams, including recruiting and training volunteer leaders
- Plan and conduct Young Life clubs, Campaigners, and summer camping strategies
- Raise financial support and maintain donor relationships
- Communicate ministry progress and updates to stakeholders
- Adhere to Young Life policies and manage administrative duties with professionalism
