Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM discipline
- Five years of related experience
- U.S. citizen
- Active or current Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
- Scripting experience in Python or other coding languages
- Experience with on-orbit satellite operations
- Ability to make decisions under high-pressure environments and maintain composure
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Eligibility for DoD SkillBridge program participation
- Availability for full-time on-site work including shift work
- Ability to support classified satellite program mission operations
- Commitment to teamwork and cross-functional leadership
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM discipline
- Five years of related experience
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with satellite operations and mission support
- Scripting experience in Python or similar coding languages
- Ability to perform under high-pressure environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Active or current Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment
- Preferred: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, SIMULINK, Fortran, Java, C, C++
- Familiarity with Linux
- Experience in spacecraft launch campaigns or sustainment
- Experience automating spacecraft or ground operations scripting
- Support for mission simulation, scripting, and verification activities
- Experience with rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO) or formation flight
Job Duties
- Provide mission operations support to classified satellite programs
- Work with systems engineers to integrate and test operational scripts for satellite operations phases
- Conduct testing using simulators and resolve discrepancies
- Develop and test command procedures and telemetry pages
- Support mission preparation, rehearsals, execution, and post-launch activities
- Lead cross-functional satellite operations teams during real-time mission execution
- Troubleshoot satellite, ground, and command and control software issues
- Enact configuration management for space vehicle hardware and software
- Modify operations procedures incorporating lessons learned and automation capabilities
- Support internal and external customer meetings with professional communications
- Utilize Agile processes and tools including Atlassian suite and BitBucket
