Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field or high school diploma with extensive relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in military aviation, surface warfare, or military planning
  • Experience with DoD training ranges
  • Managerial experience related to DoD projects
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Top Secret security clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI
  • Ability to work in office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environments
  • Capability to climb ladders and endure confined spaces and extreme temperature variations
  • Cyber security awareness training preferred
  • Knowledge of quality assurance preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 9 years relevant experience
  • Master's degree in related field with 7 years relevant experience
  • PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field with 4 years relevant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 13 years relevant experience
  • Ten years of experience in military aviation or surface warfare or military planning
  • Five years of DoD training range experience
  • Three years of managerial experience with DoD efforts
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Top Secret clearance eligible for TS/SCI
  • Cyber security awareness training preferred
  • Knowledge of quality assurance programs and processes preferred

Job Duties

  • Support large force exercise operations in accordance with contract requirements
  • Direct the work of contractor personnel directly or through supervisors
  • Serve as point of contact for Government operations personnel on all range functions supporting large force exercises
  • Coordinate all mission support from mission scenario development to live, virtual, constructive operational support to post-mission debrief and evaluation
  • Develop, produce, and continuously update written, photographic, and recordable training aids and materials for mission planning
  • Support planning and coordination for agencies participating in or supporting training operations on the range complex
  • Attend pre-mission conferences for users and support groups
  • Prepare reports of range availability, scheduling, and utilization
  • Develop and present briefings on capability, operation, and requirements to military and government agencies, including VIP presentations
  • Provide equipment operator training for range technical operations and other on-site personnel
  • Conduct equipment demonstrations
  • Perform range technical operations functions when user operators are not available
  • Support multiple government agencies in conducting live, virtual, and constructed missions, including assistance with developing training scenarios and coordination of fleet exercises
  • Implement and administer effective distribution of mission scenarios and updates
  • Provide feedback on mission results including kills and electronic warfare countermeasures effectiveness
  • Provide post-mission debriefings
  • Ensure mission data reduction support
  • Develop lessons learned
