Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of housekeeping and floor care experience required
- Must be 21 or older
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- Background investigation
- Obtain and maintain gaming license
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, climb ladders
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of housekeeping services and floor care experience
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- Ability to use cleaning tools, chemicals, and disinfectants safely
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices
- Ability to establish professional relationships with diverse individuals
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to learn cleaning methods for buildings and equipment

Job Duties
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and other surfaces
- Changing bed linens and towels
- Restocking toiletries and other guest supplies
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Maintaining cleanliness of guest corridors, elevators and other assigned areas
- Reporting maintenance issues to appropriate personnel
- Polishing furniture and fixtures
- Collecting dirty linen and delivering to laundry for cleaning
- Greeting guests and answering questions
- Providing information about the property and its services
- Responding to guest requests and complaints
- Assisting in the laundry room with folding and stocking shelves of linen
- Maintaining storage rooms and stocking carts
- Taking dirty laundry to housekeeping storage area
- Ensuring all rooms are inspected according to department standards
- Adhering to procedures and safety protocols
- Maintaining a professional appearance and polite demeanor at all times
- Maintaining inventory and stocking of cleaning materials and supplies in storage areas
- Maintaining linen inventory and stocking of linen and towels in storage
- Being knowledgeable of the casino and hotel layout
- Knowing proper methods of cleaning each area
- Inspecting all public areas and reporting problem areas to supervisor
- Occasionally assisting room attendants and supervisor by cleaning guest rooms
- Answering guest requests including delivering rollaway beds, cribs, linens, towels to guest rooms
- Reporting needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor
- Loading soiled linen and towels into linen trucks
- Unloading clean linen and towels onto wire shelving carts and delivering to housekeeping storage
- Collecting trash throughout hotel floors including room attendants' carts, vending areas, elevator areas
- Providing a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
- Working a flexible schedule including mornings, mid, and evening shifts, weekends and holidays as required
- Following all applicable company policies and hotel operations procedures
- Maintaining AAA Four Diamond standards
- Tracking and completing daily minibar stock worksheets
- Replenishing minibar items in rooms
- Maintaining minibar storeroom stock and organization
- Ensuring minibar products are not expired and removing expired products
- Maintaining assigned minibar carts
- Completing assigned floors and rooms for minibar service
- Following required safety and operating procedures
- Maintaining minibar cleanliness
- Stocking minibar carts according to daily fill requirements
- Performing other duties as required
