Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of related experience in a high-volume fine-dining hotel is desirable

Job Duties

  • stock the supply cart with all necessary items ensuring all products are labeled and unexpired
  • organize and put away any delivered minibar items
  • gather minibar maps vacant list check-out list and occupied list daily
  • prioritize checking rooms based on the lists provided starting with priority and vacant rooms
  • ensure all checks are closed out to the appropriate rooms and folios daily
  • maintain accuracy of the minibar logs
  • stock the minibar cart and start room checks from the top floor
  • replenish minibar items remove expired or extra items and take photos of the refreshed minibar
  • engage with guests politely and professionally ensuring their needs are met
  • assist the manager with daily and weekly inventory
  • ensure consistent communication with staff and management
  • demonstrate knowledge of department of health standards and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards
  • maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and appearance
  • follow directions and maintain good working relationships with supervisors and managers
  • utilize the computer system and read all orders
  • ensure a clean neat and organized work area
