Job Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- prior experience in a four star or luxury hotel environment
- ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- certification in CPR
- effective communication skills in English
- knowledge of local area to assist guests
- ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- ability to maintain confidentiality and security
- dependable and proactive work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Honor Bar Attendant in a four star environment
- certification in CPR
- knowledge of proper equipment usage and repair
- sufficient knowledge of local area to direct guest inquiries
- ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and courtesy
- high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, coworkers and management
- additional languages preferred
Job Duties
- Communicate with guests concerning requests, inquiries, and information
- maintain the stock, cleanliness, appearance and orderliness of in-room honor bars
- inventory, track and maintain par levels of stock for honor bars
- justify and report sales with current stock levels daily
- report any damages or maintenance issues
- handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- ensure confidentiality and security of all guest rooms
- adhere to lost and found policy including key control
- stock and organize honor bar supplies and storage areas
- maintain cleanliness and efficiency of department operations
- provide exceptional customer service
- communicate service and amenities of the hotel to guests
- document all pertinent information in guest request logs
- provide efficient telephone service
- anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
- maintain compliance with departmental policies and standards
- monitor cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
- provide back-up support to houseman
- assist with shipping and receiving functions
- keep lobby and corridor areas clean and organized
