Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • basic computer knowledge and skills
  • customer service experience preferred
  • ability to work Monday through Friday with some Saturdays and occasional overtime
  • ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • ability to bend, kneel, walk on uneven ground, walk upstairs, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • proficiency in English
  • dependable and punctual
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • willingness to learn on the job
  • sound judgment
  • ability to handle stressful situations with a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • basic computer skills including knowledge of POS systems, vendor programs such as Marvin OMS and Weathershield Onesource, Microsoft and Google programs
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • willingness to learn and adapt to multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • fluency in Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet customers and set them up with a salesperson or brochure depending on their need
  • answer phones and assist customers with needs for a salesperson or information
  • relay basic product information as needed to customers
  • perform basic clerical duties such as processing paperwork, placing stock parts orders, organizing brochures, and helping salespeople
  • perform initial intake for service requests by gathering customer information and problems to pass to the service department
  • communicate with customers about their order details, post order procedures, and the status of their order
  • provide order double-check, place purchase orders and build sales orders in Bistrack, enter order confirmations, manage and distribute prehung door paperwork
  • respond to incoming service requests, help diagnose problems or identify next steps, order parts and schedule appointments for service technicians
