Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- basic computer knowledge and skills
- customer service experience preferred
- ability to work Monday through Friday with some Saturdays and occasional overtime
- ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- ability to bend, kneel, walk on uneven ground, walk upstairs, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
- proficiency in English
- dependable and punctual
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- ability to work in a team environment
- willingness to learn on the job
- sound judgment
- ability to handle stressful situations with a positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
- basic computer skills including knowledge of POS systems, vendor programs such as Marvin OMS and Weathershield Onesource, Microsoft and Google programs
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- willingness to learn and adapt to multiple tasks and responsibilities
- fluency in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet customers and set them up with a salesperson or brochure depending on their need
- answer phones and assist customers with needs for a salesperson or information
- relay basic product information as needed to customers
- perform basic clerical duties such as processing paperwork, placing stock parts orders, organizing brochures, and helping salespeople
- perform initial intake for service requests by gathering customer information and problems to pass to the service department
- communicate with customers about their order details, post order procedures, and the status of their order
- provide order double-check, place purchase orders and build sales orders in Bistrack, enter order confirmations, manage and distribute prehung door paperwork
- respond to incoming service requests, help diagnose problems or identify next steps, order parts and schedule appointments for service technicians
