Job Requirements
- high school diploma
- 1-2 years prior supervisory experience
- ability to read the English language to fully comprehend guest requests, memos, and reservations
- ability to supervise staff professionally
- ability to effectively deal with customer complaints in a friendly and positive manner
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and alcoholic beverage service
- ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs through a crowded room continuously
- adherence to all applicable liquor laws and regulations
- cash handling and self-banking skills with the ability to maintain funds and accurately count back change
Job Qualifications

- excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- proficiency with POS systems
- strong leadership and training abilities

Job Duties
- perform all dining room positions including server, expeditor/food runner, busser, and host and maintain a house bank
- supervise staff and dining room in manager's absence and assist with ongoing training to ensure standards are met
- interact positively with customers, promote hotel outlets and resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties
- utilize POS system to accurately charge customers, track revenue reports and ensure timely food and beverage service
- maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics and self-image for self and subordinates
- check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of outlets, front of house, and heart of house areas
- perform other duties and responsibilities as requested such as special guest or general manager requests
