Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
- must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical stamina to carry trays and stand for long periods
- effective communication skills
- adherence to all liquor laws and health regulations
- ability to handle cash accurately
- must maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- ability to speak, read, and write English to communicate effectively with guests
- ability to memorize, recite, and promote menu items
- ability to transport trays through a crowded room continuously during shifts
- knowledge of State, Federal, and Corporate liquor laws and regulations
- positive attitude and team player
- motivated during busy and slow periods
- cash handling and self-banking skills
- ability to operate keyboard and Point of Sale systems
Job Duties
- Greets guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explains the Beer Program, specials, promotions, and Miller Time Pub and Grill features
- learns all menu items and understands beer pairings
- takes orders and memorizes all available drink selections including beers and taps
- inputs orders into Point of Sale system to inform bartender and HOH
- maintains cleanliness of guest tables and assists with the bar area
- replenishes beverages and frequently checks guest satisfaction
- presents checks promptly, thanking guests and inviting return
- performs general cleaning tasks adhering to health standards
