Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- must be 21 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages
- ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong memorization and multitasking skills
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- ability to speak, read, and write English to communicate with guests and promote specials
- ability to memorize and promote a variety of menu items
- ability to transport trays through crowded rooms continuously
- adherence to all liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- positive attitude and ability to work as a team player
- motivation during busy and slow periods
- cash handling and self-banking ability
- capable of operating a keyboard and learning Point of Sale procedures
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain the beer program, specials, promotions, and Miller Time Pub and Grill features
- learn all menu items and understand beer pairings
- take orders, recite selection of all call and premium brands, memorizing all available drinks, beer, and taps
- input orders into Point of Sale system to inform bartender and host of orders
- maintain cleanliness of guest tables and assist with bar area
- replenish beverages as requested and frequently check with guests about satisfaction
- present guest with check promptly, thank them, and invite them to return
- perform general cleaning tasks using assigned cleaning products to adhere to health standards
