Job Requirements

  • Prior 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must obtain and maintain Lancaster County Food Handler Certification
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good hearing and vision to ensure safety and quality standards
  • Basic culinary and mathematical skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Prior 1-2 years of relatable experience is preferred
  • HS diploma preferred
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including days, weekends, holidays, and game days
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Lancaster County Food Handler Certification
  • Capability to lift or move goods weighing up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations and distinguish product quality
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
  • Basic mathematical skills to understand recipes and service levels
  • Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation
  • Ability to represent the company professionally
  • Well-groomed and courteous manner at all times

Job Duties

  • Responsible for maintaining and setting up food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasonings, and other food items prepared in a specific station
  • Prepare all station specific food items according to standard recipes or as specified on guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest and visually inspect appearance of all food for proper taste, color combination, and overall presentation to maintain appeal
  • Check and control the proper storage of product, including stocks and sauces needing special attention, and portion control size
  • Keep all refrigeration, storage and working areas in clean, sanitized and working condition to comply with Health Department regulations
  • Responsible for set up station, breakdown, and all necessary advance prep, and ensure coolers are cleaned, organized and locked after work is finished
  • Perform all other related duties and special projects as requested and/or assigned
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety standards in all food preparation and storage activities
