Miller Time Pub and Grill Bartender-PT is a part-time position located at the historic Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. Job Requirements
- Must have 1-2 years of bartending experience
- must have a bartending certificate
- must have knowledge of spirits, beer, and beverage service
- must be able to stand and work long hours
- must have manual dexterity for garnishes and drink preparation
- must be able to communicate in English
- must be flexible with schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to obtain government required license or certificate
Job Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service levels for high volume restaurant
- must have high level of knowledge for spirits and beer
- able to recite trendy liquors, create new drinks, and understand wine
- sufficient manual dexterity to use knives for garnishes, pick up glassware and bottles, use corkscrew, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead for stock
- ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests and take orders
- ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
- 1-2 years of bartending experience
- ability to obtain any government required license or certificate

Job Duties
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily function projections
- responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, proper storing and labeling of fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
- greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promote and document drink orders
- mix, garnish, and present drinks using provided ingredient recipes with prudent portion control
- input orders into the Point of Sale system creating checks for each guest to maintain accountability
- assist and provide service to all guests sitting at the bar and assist service of tables if needed
- lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment items
- perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
- adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcoholic beverages
- ensure compliance with laws related to serving minors and intoxicated guests
