Job Requirements

  • Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service levels for a high-volume restaurant
  • Must have high level of knowledge for spirits and beer
  • Must be able to recite trendy liquors and create new drinks
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to use a knife for garnishes and handle glassware and bottles
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
  • 1-2 years of bartending experience required
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and game days
  • Ability to obtain government-required license or certificate
  • Bartending certificate required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of bartending experience
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service for high-volume restaurants
  • High level of knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods
  • Ability to obtain required bartending license or certificate

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily projections
  • Maintain stock, cut, properly store and label all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure quality
  • Greet guests courteously and promote and document orders for drinks
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and practice portion control
  • Input orders into the Point of Sale System creating a check for each guest
  • Assist and provide service to guests sitting at the bar and assist with table service as needed
  • Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment items
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health standards
  • Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding alcohol service
