Job Requirements
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service levels for a high-volume restaurant
- Must have high level of knowledge for spirits and beer
- Must be able to recite trendy liquors and create new drinks
- Sufficient manual dexterity to use a knife for garnishes and handle glassware and bottles
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
- 1-2 years of bartending experience required
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and game days
- Ability to obtain government-required license or certificate
- Bartending certificate required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of bartending experience
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service for high-volume restaurants
- High level of knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Ability to obtain required bartending license or certificate
Job Duties
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily projections
- Maintain stock, cut, properly store and label all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure quality
- Greet guests courteously and promote and document orders for drinks
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and practice portion control
- Input orders into the Point of Sale System creating a check for each guest
- Assist and provide service to guests sitting at the bar and assist with table service as needed
- Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment items
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health standards
- Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding alcohol service
