Job Requirements
- at least 3 to 5 years experience in grinding, gravity, flotation, leach/CIP, tailings filtration, paste backfill, mine water treatment, or reagent mixing
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- valid driver’s license is required
- MSHA certificate preferred
- ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate good problem-solving skills
- must pass a post offer physical and drug test
- must pass a background check
Job Qualifications
- at least 3 to 5 years experience in grinding, gravity, flotation, leach/CIP, tailings filtration, paste backfill, mine water treatment, or reagent mixing
- proficiency in 3 to 6 of the following circuits: SAG/BM grinding, Knelson/ILR gravity, gold/sulphide flotation, leach/CIP/Zadra strip, tailings filtration/paste backfill, mine water treatment, reagent mixing/handling
- effective written, verbal and communication skills
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- valid driver’s license
- ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate good problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- operate grinding, gravity separation, flotation, leaching/CIP, elution, tailings filtration, paste backfill, mine water treatment and reagent mixing circuits
- assist with basic maintenance of processing plant equipment
- optimize gold production and recovery by adhering to operational parameters
- monitor and adjust processing equipment for efficient performance
- maintain accurate operational records and communicate issues to the mill supervisor
- comply with safety and environmental regulations
- work effectively in rotating day and night shifts
