Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 or older
- able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
- reliable transportation and punctuality
- wear complete and proper uniform for each shift including a positive attitude
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 8 hours
- ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds frequently
- good sense of balance and ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat regularly
- strong communication and attentive listening skills
- able to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- excellent customer service skills
- strong work ethic
- understanding of food handling and sanitation procedures
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- familiarity with restaurant POS systems preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- prior experience in food service is a plus
Job Duties
- Maintain professional appearance and practice punctuality
- prepare dining room by clothing tables and setting condiments and utensils
- greet guests with a warm, welcoming attitude following established service steps
- serve guests with a gracious attitude, providing food and beverages promptly and courteously
- describe, sell, and present food and bar items while assisting guests in menu selections
- take and transmit orders accurately to kitchen and bar staff ensuring dietary needs and requests are met
- clear and clean tables efficiently while maintaining dining area standards
- support other service staff and bartenders by restocking and spot cleaning
- maintain a neat, clean, and organized service area by performing opening, running, and closing side work
- conclude dining experience by collecting payment and warmly inviting guests to return
