Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • ability to bend, twist, stretch, and lift up to 55 pounds
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work flexible schedules including during peak hours
  • able to obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications
  • willingness to maintain a positive attitude and support team efforts
  • able to perform routine restaurant tasks with or without reasonable accommodations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to follow recipes and food preparation standards
  • willingness to learn cooking techniques including sautéing
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team
  • basic knowledge of kitchen safety practices
  • ability to handle physical demands of the job such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 55 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes to order
  • ensure each dish is made consistently with quality and attention to presentation
  • follow recipes, preparation guides, and standard procedures accurately
  • learn and refine cooking and sautéing skills through paid training
  • maintain pace during high-demand periods and support efficient kitchen flow
  • work in a dynamic team environment where communication is key
  • manage multiple tasks effectively to meet expectations during busy shifts
