Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications
  • Ability to comply with physical demands including standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 55 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours including part-time shifts
  • No prior cooking experience required as training is provided
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Demonstrated responsibility and effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required
  • Ability to learn cooking techniques and kitchen procedures quickly
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support team efforts
  • Ability to work safely around kitchen equipment, heat, and steam
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively during high demand
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes to order
  • Ensure each dish is prepared with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation
  • Follow recipes, preparation guides, and standard procedures accurately
  • Learn and perfect cooking and stir-frying skills through hands-on training
  • Maintain pace during busy hours and support efficient kitchen flow
  • Work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where communication is key
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively to meet expectations during busy shifts
