Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- ability to work flexible part-time hours
- comply with food safety and sanitation standards
- obtain and maintain any required food safety certifications as per local, state and federal regulations
- demonstrate responsibility and a positive attitude
- ability to work safely in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- meet physical demands of the position including standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- no prior experience necessary as paid training is provided
- ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- willingness to learn and develop cooking techniques
- ability to maintain attention to detail and work safely around kitchen equipment
- physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, lift up to 55 pounds and perform routine restaurant tasks with or without reasonable accommodations
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes to order
- ensure each dish is prepared with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation
- follow recipes, preparation guides and standard procedures accurately
- learn and refine cooking and sautéing skills through hands-on training
- maintain pace during busy periods and support efficient kitchen flow
- work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where communication is key
- manage multiple tasks effectively to meet expectations during busy shifts
