Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is advantageous but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes to order
  • ensure each dish is prepared consistently with quality and attention to presentation
  • follow recipes, preparation guides, and standard procedures accurately
  • learn and perfect stir-fry and cooking skills through hands-on training
  • maintain pace during busy periods and support efficient kitchen flow
  • work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment emphasizing communication
  • manage multiple tasks effectively during busy shifts
  • work safely around kitchen equipment, heat, and steam
  • use kitchen tools, timers, and basic systems as part of daily routines
  • keep the restaurant clean and organized, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate responsibility, a positive attitude, and willingness to support the team every shift
  • meet physical requirements including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, stretching, lifting up to 55 pounds, and performing routine restaurant tasks with or without reasonable accommodations
  • obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications according to local, state, and federal regulations
