Job Requirements

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • able to stand for extended periods
  • able to lift up to 55 pounds
  • willing to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • maintain a positive and responsible attitude
  • obtain and maintain any required food safety certifications
  • have legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • no prior experience required as paid training is provided
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to learn quickly and follow directions
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation preferred
  • positive attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset
  • ability to handle physical demands of the job
  • food safety certification obtained after hire preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes to order
  • ensure each dish is prepared consistently, with quality and attention to presentation
  • follow recipes, preparation guides and standard procedures accurately
  • learn and perfect cooking and wok techniques through hands-on training
  • maintain pace during high-demand hours and support efficient kitchen flow
  • work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where communication is key
  • manage multiple tasks effectively during busy shifts
  • work safely around kitchen equipment, heat and steam
  • use kitchen tools, timers and basic systems as part of daily routines
  • keep the restaurant clean and organized, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate responsibility, positive attitude and willingness to support the team every shift
  • meet physical requirements of the job including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 55 pounds
  • obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications
