Job Requirements
- FAA commercial certificate (airplane or helicopter) with instrument rating
- FAA certified flight instructor (CFI)
- current class I or II medical certificate
- minimum 2000 total flight hours with over 750 hours of instruction experience
- ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- maintain flight proficiency and instructor/evaluator proficiency
- adhere to safety-sensitive protocols including FAA DOT drug testing
- commitment to company safety culture
- effective communication and teamwork skills

- ability to mentor and develop junior pilots
- familiarity with FAA regulations and safety standards
Job Duties
- Support production and validation of aircraft systems, policies, and procedures in the Midnight Aircraft Flight Manual
- conduct safe, professional, and effective flight training for company pilots, customers, and stakeholders including test pilots and FAA personnel
- act as a subject matter expert assisting in the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs including classroom, simulator, and in-aircraft instruction
- collaborate with engineering and instructional design teams to refine course materials and lesson plans
- work with regulatory bodies and compliance teams to ensure training meets FAA and international standards
- continuously monitor and evaluate pilot performance, compliance, and competencies through assessments and feedback
- ensure standardization and proper utilization of training resources, identify training gaps, and suggest improvements
- maintain excellent communication and collaboration with training stakeholders
- communicate and verify compliance of company philosophies, policies, and procedures to line pilots
- travel up to 25% of the time
- maintain flight proficiency and instructor/evaluator proficiency
- provide leadership and mentorship to junior pilots
- act as a safety ambassador promoting Archer’s safety culture
- support Archer Air's mission by delivering high-quality flight instruction
- contribute to the development of innovative training programs
- focus on Midnight’s FAA certification and future roles post-certification
