Job Duties
- Stock and rotate items as needed
- assist with inventory control by loading, unloading, and moving products
- organize, clean, and prepare back area for night crew and incoming trucks
- organize merchandise on pallets to present the department attractively
- ensure the integrity of shelf tags and signage, create or prepare signage as needed
- maintain standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation
- check shipments for out-of-date and damaged products to ensure quality
- build, stock, maintain, and dismantle store displays
- perform Customer Service Assistant duties as needed
- provide superior customer service
- answer customer questions and assist with product selections
- merchandise products effectively
- use suggestive selling techniques to build department sales
- clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment
- properly handle and maintain operation of equipment
- comply with departmental SOPs and store operating procedures
