Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • completion of company orientation
  • completion of food safety and sanitation training upon hire
  • knowledge of computer systems and equipment
  • strong customer service skills

  • ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
  • physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs or more depending on department
  • ability to perform detailed and precise tasks
  • teamwork and willingness to ask for assistance when lifting heavy items

  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision (specialist)

Job Duties

  • Provides superior customer service
  • takes orders from customers by telephone or in person
  • answers customer questions regarding products
  • assists with selections
  • prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh product daily
  • slices, packages, labels, rotates, and culls products for poor quality
  • assists in technical areas as needed such as baking, frying, decorating, or equipment operation
  • uses suggestive or advanced selling techniques to meet customer needs and build sales
  • cleans and sanitizes display cases
  • operates and maintains equipment properly
  • complies with food safety and sanitation standards
  • complies with department and store operating procedures
  • manages inventory and ordering systems
  • performs all sanitation and maintenance tasks for equipment
  • trains other Partners (specialist role)
  • provides product demos and education
  • ensures catering orders are prepared and ready
