Job Requirements
- Prior route driving, route merchandising, route sales, vending machine, or micro market experience preferred
- Full-time availability Monday through Friday with varying hours
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Valid non-CDL Class C driver’s license
- Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Job Qualifications
- Three years driving experience required
- Preferred one to two years experience in a customer service position or minimum one year related experience
- Valid non-CDL Class C driver’s license ensuring safe operation of company vehicles
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment
- Able to work independently and unsupervised 98 percent of the work day
Job Duties
- Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market
- Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance
- Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and related equipment
- Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets and report defective equipment when necessary
- Ensure truck is properly loaded with product before beginning each day’s route
- Inform clients of new products or services and resolve service complaints
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotions to customers
- Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product
- Conduct inventory reconciliation according to district procedures
- Keep company vehicle clean and organized and perform pre and post trip inspections
- Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
