Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker and airbrake endorsements
  • maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card and endorsements
  • no more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years or one of each
  • no driving under influence of alcohol or controlled substances in the last 7 years
  • able to work in a drug-free environment
  • able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with equipment
  • minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of completion certificate

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before groups
  • math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages and interpret bar graphs
  • reasoning ability to carry out simple detailed instructions and solve basic problems
  • knowledge of MS Outlook, Gmail, and Android tablet operation
  • valid Class B CDL or Class A CDL with Haz-Mat endorsement, tanker endorsement, and no air brake restriction

Job Duties

  • Provides good customer service to customers
  • presents themselves in a professional manner
  • completes truck inspection reports
  • maintains a thorough driver's log book
  • performs pre and post trip truck inspections and completes necessary paperwork
  • loads the route vehicle on a daily basis
  • passes all company issued exams with a 70% or better
  • operates forklift
  • prepares reports and paperwork that meet FDA rules and company policies
  • works in a dynamic fast paced environment with constant change to satisfy customer needs
