Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker and airbrake endorsements
- maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card and endorsements
- no more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years or one of each
- no driving under influence of alcohol or controlled substances in the last 7 years
- able to work in a drug-free environment
- able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with equipment
- minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of completion certificate
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups
- math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages and interpret bar graphs
- reasoning ability to carry out simple detailed instructions and solve basic problems
- knowledge of MS Outlook, Gmail, and Android tablet operation
- valid Class B CDL or Class A CDL with Haz-Mat endorsement, tanker endorsement, and no air brake restriction
Job Duties
- Provides good customer service to customers
- presents themselves in a professional manner
- completes truck inspection reports
- maintains a thorough driver's log book
- performs pre and post trip truck inspections and completes necessary paperwork
- loads the route vehicle on a daily basis
- passes all company issued exams with a 70% or better
- operates forklift
- prepares reports and paperwork that meet FDA rules and company policies
- works in a dynamic fast paced environment with constant change to satisfy customer needs
