Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
- Must be able to walk, stoop, bend and stand for entire work shift
- Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
- Must be flexible to work a 24/7 environment including nights, weekends, holidays
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be in current position for 60 days
- Must have ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure
- Must be a team player
- Must have a flexible schedule, open 7 days a week, 365 days a year
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications
- Possess interpersonal communication, customer service skills and a high level of professionalism
- Able to apply safety standards and guidelines
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Successfully complete on-the-job driver training program and obtain SIDA and Customs Seal
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure
- Team player
- Flexible schedule willing to work nights, weekends, holidays
- Good attendance record
Job Duties
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with and between management and customer service personnel and airline ramp and operations personnel
- Assign and dispatch drivers and reassign as necessary
- Stay informed of flight activity, schedule and gate changes and act accordingly
- Ensure timely and safe catering of all flights
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and elevate to management as needed
- Keep management informed of area activities and significant problems
- Conduct daily use of various quality forms and report daily feedback of all flight checks discoveries
