Job Description
The MHP Patient Services Generalist (PEG) role is a dynamic and multifaceted position within MHP Medical Center that plays a critical part in enhancing the patient and guest experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. MHP is a respected healthcare institution known for its commitment to patient-centered care and operational excellence. Job Requirements
- Maintain an active driver’s license
- Meet minimum auto insurance requirements for the state of Indiana
- Adhere strictly to MHP Driving Agreement
- Ability to safely operate wheelchair vans and company vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service consistently
- Ability to manage multiple roles in a fast-paced environment
- Must be punctual and reliable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in customer service roles preferred
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
- Ability to assist guests with wayfinding and patient check-in processes
Job Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide courteous customer service
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operate wheelchair van to assist patient transportation
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors entering the Medical Center
- Check in patients and assist with wayfinding
- Transport patients to and from MHP in company vehicles
- Maintain compliance with MHP Driving Agreement and state insurance requirements
