Job Requirements
- Experience and ability to operate independently with senior levels of customer
- Experience in military helicopters
- 500 plus hours experience as an Aircrew instructor
- 5 plus years of experience managing or leading people or teams
- Ability to travel 10 percent of the time
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required
- Employment contingent upon successful background check
- U.S. Person as defined by export control requirements
Job Qualifications
- Experience operating independently with senior levels of customer
- Experience in military helicopters
- 500 plus hours experience as an Aircrew instructor
- 5 plus years of experience managing or leading people or teams
- Ability to travel 10 percent of the time
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred
- Experience with USAF training systems as an aircrew instructor preferred
- Experience with the UH-1N and the Air Force Global Strike Command mission preferred
- Instructor experience in the UH-1N or MH-139 preferred
- Experience as a training device or simulator instructor preferred
- 10 plus years of experience managing or leading people or teams preferred
Job Duties
- Manage a remote site team of instructors executing aircrew simulator training operations
- Manage a remote site team of device technicians supporting training device operations
- Maintain qualification as an MH-139 simulator instructor and perform instruction in support of the customer
- Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals
- Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manage, develop and motivate employees
- Coordinate activities with the local base leadership
