Job Requirements

  • Experience and ability to operate independently with senior levels of customer
  • Experience in military helicopters
  • 500 plus hours experience as an Aircrew instructor
  • 5 plus years of experience managing or leading people or teams
  • Ability to travel 10 percent of the time
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required
  • Employment contingent upon successful background check
  • U.S. Person as defined by export control requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Experience operating independently with senior levels of customer
  • Experience in military helicopters
  • 500 plus hours experience as an Aircrew instructor
  • 5 plus years of experience managing or leading people or teams
  • Ability to travel 10 percent of the time
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with USAF training systems as an aircrew instructor preferred
  • Experience with the UH-1N and the Air Force Global Strike Command mission preferred
  • Instructor experience in the UH-1N or MH-139 preferred
  • Experience as a training device or simulator instructor preferred
  • 10 plus years of experience managing or leading people or teams preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage a remote site team of instructors executing aircrew simulator training operations
  • Manage a remote site team of device technicians supporting training device operations
  • Maintain qualification as an MH-139 simulator instructor and perform instruction in support of the customer
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees
  • Coordinate activities with the local base leadership
