Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in restaurant or food and beverage management
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and manner at all times
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Physical ability to stand for entire shifts and move around restaurant and kitchen areas
  • Ability to lift/carry weights up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts up to 150 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and service, wines, and preparation techniques
  • Excellent mathematical abilities to track inventory, controls, revenue productions, and financial statements
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and train staff
  • Experience in customer service and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work full shifts standing and moving about restaurants and kitchen areas
  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds, push and pull carts up to 150 pounds
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication, and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate
  • Ensure that the restaurant complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and associates
  • Check that all equipment is in working order and inspect restaurant facilities to ensure appeal and attractiveness
  • Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in restaurant and interact with guests to obtain feedback
  • Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply so restaurants are stocked
  • Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
  • Participate in marketing efforts, create menu ideas, survey competition, report food trends, and assist in preparation of specials
  • Responsible for vendor ordering for all outlets
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
  • Create new SOP’s, payroll timecard edits, and associate scheduling
  • Maintain the outlet in accordance with cost controls and sales budgets
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
