Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hotel industry
- availability to work overnight shifts
- strong problem solving and decision making skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- excellent customer service orientation
- familiarity with hotel management software
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or related hospitality roles
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- experience in conflict resolution and guest service recovery
- knowledge of hotel safety security and emergency procedures
- proficiency in documenting and reporting operational incidents
Job Duties
- Serve as night manager on duty assuming full responsibility for hotel operations
- oversee and coordinate all overnight departmental functions including front desk housekeeping maintenance security and food and beverage if applicable
- ensure smooth shift transitions and communicate effectively with daytime management regarding overnight activities incidents and follow ups
- monitor staffing levels productivity and performance of overnight team members
- address and resolve guest complaints concerns and service recovery situations promptly and professionally
- act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and escalated guest issues
- ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by upholding brand standards and service expectations
