Job Requirements

  • Education and experience in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3-5 years management experience in food and beverage service
  • proven leadership skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage budgets and inventories efficiently
  • knowledge of alcoholic beverage laws and regulations
  • certification in alcohol service and food safety
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in computer applications related to scheduling and inventory
  • valid work authorization
  • ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

  • certified by the National Bar & Restaurant Management Association
  • openness to working an events-driven schedule

Job Duties

  • Schedules, trains, manages, and develops staff
  • manages budget and inventory
  • trains and supervises alcoholic beverage service
  • assists with catering events tied to shows
  • establishes beverage program and seasonal specials
  • purchases alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • manages culinary program in conjunction with WPC culinary and marketing team
  • maintains a positive working relationship with staff, venue client and production team
  • works with vendors to increase positive cost results
  • works in conjunction with venue house managers regarding attendance and staffing to achieve maximum results
  • oversees financial aspects of first class bar/concession stand operations
