Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field supporting food manufacturing operations
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
- proven leadership ability
- functional knowledge of Microsoft Office
- essential math skills
- must be highly organized and systematic in approach
- ability to comprehend complex oral and written instructions
- strong oral and written communication skills
- strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and precision
- thorough knowledge of plant operations and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field supporting food manufacturing operations
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
- proven leadership ability
- functional knowledge of Microsoft Office

- excellent organizational skills
- strong oral and written communication skills
- high attention to detail with accuracy and precision
- thorough knowledge of plant operations and procedures
- previous experience as superintendent or mid-level management in food manufacturing preferred
- working knowledge of Total Process Control or lean manufacturing practices
Job Duties
- Supervise and control all planning, coordination and direction of production activities
- develop operations resource leaders to maintain and improve plant performance
- perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to improve plant performance in safety, quality, reliability and customer service
- provide leadership embodying the company’s high performance work system principles
- demonstrate company core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety
- support and participate in the plant safety process
- apply analysis and knowledge of plant operations to develop and maintain department structures
- advance recommendations on policies, procedures, production planning and all operational matters
- prepare and control operating budgets
- communicate effectively with plant leadership and supervisory staff
- maintain close contact with sales and marketing activities
- develop and implement methods to achieve plant production goals
- develop department managers and associates to their fullest potential
- follow established programs to produce safe, quality foods
- supervise and coach direct reports including performance reviews
- comply with food safety and quality principles
- work around ingredients and finished products containing allergens
