Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • must possess a valid driver’s license
  • must be able to operate both standard and automatic transmissions
  • ability to work outdoors in all climates
  • good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
  • basic literacy and numeracy
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • basic math skills for cash handling and revenue reconciliation
  • friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and team members
  • experience or interest in working in a service-oriented environment
  • willingness to adhere to safety and operational policies
  • prior experience in valet, parking management, or related fields is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Coordinate traffic flow
  • communicate valet procedure, information and directions clearly and effectively with guests
  • understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and team member inquiries
  • monitor illegal parking, and immediately store vehicles
  • interact with guests in a friendly manner
  • assist guests with loading and unloading
  • collect and secure guest keys
  • predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues
  • identify and arrange for extra support for extended wait times
  • accurately tally and split the tip pool
  • receive and receipt a variety of valet payments
  • accurately reconcile and report daily revenue
  • project currency and coin requirements and re-order as necessary
  • operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, facility policies, and applicable pedestrian regulations
  • work in an outdoor unprotected environment in all climates for extended periods of time
  • keep work area clean of debris
