Our camp organization is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment for children during their summer camp experience. We pride ourselves on creating a community where campers can learn new skills, develop friendships, and grow in confidence under the guidance of caring and qualified staff. Our team is committed to upholding high standards of safety, professionalism, and engagement throughout every aspect of our camp program. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a leadership role or working with youth
- ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- availability to work during the full camp season
- sound judgment and responsibility
- physical ability to participate in outdoor activities
- certification in first aid and CPR is an asset
Job Qualifications
- experience working with children or in a camp setting
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively with a team
- problem-solving abilities
- basic first aid knowledge is preferred
- positive attitude and enthusiasm for outdoor activities
Job Duties
- oversee the day-to-day activities of counselors and campers to ensure their safety
- assist the Camp Director, Program Coordinator and Office Administrator with daily operations
- lead orientations for new campers and staff
- coordinate and facilitate camp activities and events
- maintain clear and timely communication between staff and camp management
- support the implementation of camp policies and safety protocols
- address and resolve issues that arise within groups promptly
