Job Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid vehicle operator’s license
  • Safe driving record as evidenced by provision of a minimum 3-year driving abstract
  • Professional driving experience
  • Experience handling bio-hazardous laboratory specimens and familiarity with universal precautions
  • Experience with customer service relations
  • Demonstrated success working independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Works with bio hazardous specimens and adheres to universal precaution procedures
  • Prepares all lab supplies needed to be delivered to client locations
  • Drives the assigned route in appropriate amount of time
  • Maintains accurate records of route stops and specimens transported
  • Knowledgeable and adheres to UW Fleet Services rules and regulations
  • Maintains University vehicle, as per protocol
  • Utilize digital devices to manage daily pickups
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Performs other duties as assigned
