Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- minimal 3 years of food service experience
- must be able to lift 40 pounds
- must have knowledge of GFS/Van Eerden Ordering System
- must have knowledge of Bread, Produce and Coke & Pepsi Order Systems
- must be able to perform End of Year Inventory
- working knowledge of Menu Revision and Recipe Creation
- working knowledge of Kitchen Equipment
- must have knowledge of Meal Magic BOC and Register
- must be able to manage people
- customer service skills
- ServSafe Certified
- knowledgeable of Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act Regulations

Job Duties
- Prepare food
- record keeping
- forecast weekly production
- create/manage staff workflow in the kitchen
- manage the flow of food
- oversee health department visits
- manage and execute all food and supply orders for 13 sites including 9 elementary district locations
- complete and submit shorts from Van Eerden for all locations to maintain accurate inventory and delivery schedules
- schedule carts for 12 locations to ensure timely and efficient meal distribution
- maintain constant communication between all K5's to ensure smooth coordination and consistency across sites
- conduct regular site visits to assigned elementary schools to assess operations and ensure compliance with district standards
- train FSA's on inventory, ordering process and daily food service safety
- report site findings, updates, and recommendations directly to the Director of Nutrition
- manage the daily operations of the base school kitchen while fulfilling assigned location management duties
- perform site reviews, audits, and on-site training as needed to improve efficiency, food quality, and staff performance for assigned locations
- take on additional responsibilities including assisting in training new staff, performing site edits, and implementing process improvements
- collaborate with school administrators and site managers to maintain consistency in menu offerings, food presentation, and service standards
- ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal food service regulations
- other duties as assigned
