Job Requirements
- Six months live nursery experience or general merchandising experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Physical capability to handle merchandise, operate equipment, and perform manual tasks
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months Lowe's sales floor experience preferred
- Six months experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and setting up displays preferred
- Three months experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of merchandising standards and planograms
- Ability to safely operate store equipment
Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service through daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs
- Build relationships with vendors ensuring merchandise resets meet Lowe's specifications
- Collaborate with Merchandising Service team and Manager communicating project priorities, schedules, and needs
- Engage with customers by understanding their needs and assisting with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
- Respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer questions and provide information on stock, special orders, warranties, and product benefits
- Merchandize plants by planogram, price, and color block, update and validate signage and digital maintenance
- Adjust fixtures, rotate stock, repair and replace displays ensuring safety and a high level of presentation
- Operate store equipment like lifts and order pickers following safety processes
- Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, detect shoplifting and security risks, and communicate issues to management
- Complete documentation and reporting for all assigned merchandising and maintenance tasks
