Job Requirements

  • Six months live nursery experience or general merchandising experience required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Physical capability to handle merchandise, operate equipment, and perform manual tasks
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months Lowe's sales floor experience preferred
  • Six months experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and setting up displays preferred
  • Three months experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers preferred
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic understanding of merchandising standards and planograms
  • Ability to safely operate store equipment

Job Duties

  • Provide SMART customer service through daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs
  • Build relationships with vendors ensuring merchandise resets meet Lowe's specifications
  • Collaborate with Merchandising Service team and Manager communicating project priorities, schedules, and needs
  • Engage with customers by understanding their needs and assisting with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
  • Respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer questions and provide information on stock, special orders, warranties, and product benefits
  • Merchandize plants by planogram, price, and color block, update and validate signage and digital maintenance
  • Adjust fixtures, rotate stock, repair and replace displays ensuring safety and a high level of presentation
  • Operate store equipment like lifts and order pickers following safety processes
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, detect shoplifting and security risks, and communicate issues to management
  • Complete documentation and reporting for all assigned merchandising and maintenance tasks
