Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Previous cashier or stocking experience desired
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle desired
- Fluency in multiple languages preferred, Spanish highly desired
Job Duties
- Greet customers on sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to parts specialist
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise
- Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and clean daily
- Make display changes according to guidelines and planograms
- Make all out-front price changes and ensure sale signage is in place
- Remove sale materials and restore original pricing after sales end
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- Work with manager to complete store tasks
- Act as main shoplifting deterrent and front floor security
- Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
- Clock in/out according to policy
- Check out customers quickly and friendly
- Handle merchandise returns
- Assist with finishing tickets and processing payments when lane is busy
