Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including stocking and lifting
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Basic math skills for pricing and transactions
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- Previous cashier or stocking experience preferred
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle is a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired
Job Duties
- Greet customers on sales floor and assist in locating merchandise or direct to parts specialist
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise according to planograms
- Keep merchandise displays fronted, full, and clean daily
- Make display changes and price adjustments according to company guidelines
- Maintain and update sale signage and sales flyer racks
- Remove sale materials and restore original pricing after sales
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- Act as main shoplifting deterrent and front floor security
- Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
- Clock in and out according to company policy
- Process customer purchases and handle merchandise returns efficiently
- Assist customers at the counter during busy periods by finalizing transactions
