Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- basic math skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand and move throughout the sales floor
- ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- willingness to learn company policies and procedures
- bilingual abilities a plus
- ability to work flexible shifts
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- good interpersonal communication skills
- good organizational skills
- previous cashier and/or stocking experience preferred
- ability to drive manual transmission vehicle desired
- fluency in multiple languages especially Spanish encouraged
Job Duties
- Greet customers and assist them in locating merchandise or direct to parts specialist
- check in, price, and stock merchandise
- keep merchandise displays fronted, full, and clean daily
- make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms
- update front pricing and manage sale signs and sales flyer racks
- remove sale materials and restore original pricing after sales
- assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- complete store to do list and team weekly tasks with manager
- deter shoplifting and maintain front floor security
- assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
- clock in and out per company policy
- efficiently check out customers and handle returns
- assist in busy periods by finishing transactions and accepting various payment methods
