Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail cashier or merchandiser role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and pricing
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Previous cashier and/or stocking experience preferred
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle desired
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired
Job Duties
- Greet customers on sales floor, assisting them in locating merchandise or directing them to parts specialist if needed
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise
- Maintain merchandise displays fronted, full, and clean daily
- Make display changes and price adjustments according to company guidelines
- Ensure sale signs and sales flyer racks are properly stocked and remove sale materials after promotions end
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- Act as main shoplifting deterrent and perform front floor security duties
- Process customer checkouts and returns efficiently and courteously
- Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
- Clock in and out according to company policy
- Work with store manager to complete store to-do list and team weekly tasks
