Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Job Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Previous cashier or stocking experience preferred
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle is a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages especially Spanish is highly desired
Job Duties
- Greet customers on sales floor assisting them with locating merchandise or directing them to parts specialist
- Check in price and stock merchandise
- Keep merchandise on display floor fronted full and clean daily
- Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms
- Update out-front price changes and maintain accurate sales signage
- Stock sales flyer rack and ensure sufficient sale merchandise is displayed
- Remove sale materials and restore original pricing after sales end
- Assist with stock adjustments cycle counts and overstock returns
- Work with manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks
- Act as main shoplifting deterrent and front floor security
- Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
- Clock in and out according to company policy
- Check out customers quickly and friendly
- Handle merchandise returns efficiently
- Assist customers by completing tickets and processing payments when the counter is busy
