Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to greet customers and provide friendly service
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions
- Ability to follow company guidelines and planograms
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to stock and move merchandise
- Good communication skills
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Job Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Previous cashier and/or stocking experience is desired
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle is desired
- Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly desired
Job Duties
- Greet customers on sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to parts specialist if needed
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise according to planograms or displays
- Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and clean daily
- Make display and price changes according to company guidelines and sales
- Ensure all sale signs and sales flyer racks are in place and stocked
- Remove sale materials when sales end and restore original pricing
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- Work with manager to complete store to-do lists and team weekly tasks
- Act as shoplifting deterrent and front floor security
- Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
- Clock in and out according to company policy
- Check out customers purchasing merchandise in a quick and friendly manner
- Handle merchandise returns from customers efficiently
- Assist customers at the cashier counter when busy, including handling payments
