Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or cashiering experience preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- basic math and communication skills
- must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
- bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- ability to follow safety protocols and store policies
- physical ability to lift and stock merchandise
Job Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- good interpersonal communication skills
- good organizational skills
- previous cashier and/or stocking experience preferred
- ability to drive manual transmission vehicle desirable
- fluency in multiple languages especially Spanish is highly desired
Job Duties
- Greet customers on sales floor and direct them to product or parts specialist
- Check out customers and deter shoplifters
- Keep the front area stocked and fronted
- Stock merchandise according to planograms or displays
- Complete sales preparation
- Make display changes according to company guidelines
- Make all out-front price changes
- Ensure all sale signs are in place and sales flyer rack is stocked
- Remove sale materials and restore original pricing post-sale
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- Work with manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks
- Act as main shoplifting deterrent and front floor security
- Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
- Clock in/out according to company policy
- Check out customers purchasing front floor merchandise efficiently
- Handle merchandise returns
- Assist customers at busy counters by finishing tickets and processing payments
