Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in retail or automotive parts preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Must be able to follow company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Previous cashier and/or stocking experience desired
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle desired
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
Job Duties
- Greet customers on sales floor and assist in location of merchandise or direct to parts specialist
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise according to company planograms or displays
- Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and clean daily
- Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms
- Update out-front price changes and sale signage accurately
- Remove sale materials and restore pricing after sales end
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- Complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks with manager
- Act as main shoplifting deterrent/front floor security
- Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
- Clock in/out according to company policy
- Check out customers purchasing front floor merchandise quickly and friendly
- Handle merchandise returns efficiently
- Assist in busy counter periods and express lane when applicable
